At LifeSync Health you will receive medical care specific to you and your family's needs in the comfort of your own home. We specialize in depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic, OCD, ADHD, sleep issues, and addictions. Symptoms can include feelings of guilt, hopelessness, helplessness, low interest in activities, constant worry, low focus, obsessions, and/or poor sleep. All appointments are online in the comfort of your home, office, or school.
At LifeSync Health, we believe that health care is not one-size-fits-all. We utilize a variety of modalities including medication management, supplementation, lab work, and behavior changes, along with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques, to achieve the best outcomes. This personalized approach allows us to treat each person as an individual.
Whether you are currently working with a therapist or not, our supplemental behavioral therapy can reinforce your existing treatment or provide essential skills to help you make progress with your illness.
We are currently authorized to prescribe controlled substances such as Adderall, Ritalin, and Suboxone in the state of Colorado only.
Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and a loss of interest in pleasurable activities. MDD can come alone, or it can also include manic episodes along with depression.
Depression with manic episodes is called bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder that results in intense changes in mood, energy levels, thinking patterns, and behavior.
MDD can present in a number of ways, including the following symptoms:
⦁ Appetite changes
⦁ Sleep disturbances
⦁ Reduced cognitive abilities, such as poor memory or word searching
⦁ Suicidal thoughts
⦁ Emotional numbness
⦁ Physical problems, such as headaches, chronic pain, and inflammation
⦁ Persistently low or depressed mood
⦁ Anhedonia, a decreased interest in activities you enjoy
⦁ Lack of energy
⦁ Lack of motivation
⦁ Feelings of guilt or worthlessness
⦁ Feeling of helplessness and/or hopelessness
⦁ Poor concentration
Bipolar Disorder includes the above symptoms but may also include the following symptoms of mania:
⦁ Feeling overly happy or elated
⦁ Talking rapidly or racing speech
⦁ Decreased need for sleep
⦁ Increase in reckless behavior
⦁ Increased activity, energy, or agitation
⦁ Racing thoughts
⦁ Increase in goal-directed activities
Diagnosing Anxiety Disorders
Anxiety disorders can develop suddenly or gradually and may be persistent, like generalized anxiety disorder, or episodic, such as panic disorder or panic attacks. Additionally, anxiety can present as obsessive compulsions, commonly known as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Anxiety and panic can present in the following ways:
⦁ Constant worry
⦁ Difficulty controlling worry
⦁ Trouble concentrating
⦁ Trouble sleeping through the night
⦁ Trouble falling asleep (racing mind)
⦁ Nervousness
⦁ Irritability
⦁ Restlessness and/or feeling tense
⦁ An impending sense of doom
⦁ Profuse sweating or trembling
⦁ Rapid breathing (hyperventilation)
⦁ Feeling tired
⦁ Gastrointestinal problems
OCD-specific symptoms can present as the following:
⦁ Fear of contamination
⦁ Doubting if you completed something—"did I turn off the stove?”
⦁ Intense stress when objects are not organized in a particular way
⦁ Aggressive thoughts about harming yourself or others
⦁ Unwanted thoughts about specific topics
Diagnosing ADHD
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a serious issue that affects 6 to 8 percent of the population. Many think of ADHD as being a childhood ailment, however ADHD is a lifelong condition that can follow you into adult hood and make tasks, work, and life in general difficult to manage.
Often times, people with ADHD are labeled as unorganized, “scatter brained”, forgetful, impulsive, or even lazy. In reality, these are actually symptoms associated with ADHD. If you or a loved one has ADHD, it is important to know that treatment for ADHD is available and for many it can be life changing.
Symptoms of ADHD:

⦁ Disorganization
⦁ Forgetful
⦁ Restless
